There’s so much going on in the world today that I find it necessary to say to whom it may concern, YOU ARE WRONG.

Many of us don’t like being wrong, but in this instance, Reader, I’m simply encouraging you with these words, “YOU ARE WRONG!”

Recently, I wrote a blog with this train of thought: the mind has a lot to do with God’s people not experiencing goodness in proportionate to His great promises. Bottom line, our thoughts deprive us of God’s extreme goodness. Why? They’re often misaligned with truth, His Word. A popular televangelist calls it, “stinking thinking.” I understand, by experience, what that means. The wrong thoughts can cause one to miss out on good/GOD things. The blog also included a thought on the word, “W R O N G,” as an acronym, that stood for this, “We (W) Are (R) One (O) In (N) God (G).” I elaborated on the acronym and stated the significance of being ONE in Christ. I implied that the acronym speaks to our current spiritual position, chiefly, Christians are ONE in God. Jesus confirmed this in St. John 17:21. He stated this, “That they may be one as Thou, Father, are in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be one in Us…”

Reader, “oneness” is good news for us! It signifies a personal relationship with One who is a loving, faithful Father…One who has promised to be good and give good gifts to you and I, His children! Beloved of God, with all that’s happening, it’s easy to succumb to sleepless nights, stress, loneliness, discouragement, anxiety, panic, fear, concerns, and physical ailments that morph into greater issues at some point. Good gifts? By no means! Definitely not His goodness. Those matters and emotions are reactions to situations and events that rob us of a good thing called “peace.” They’re obstacles to living out God’s good promises. The truth is, based on our relationship to God, we are, and should be obstacles to our own negative reactions/thoughts. Fear is a reaction to something real. In Christ, our reaction to fear can and should be “power.” God did say He’s not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Power, as expressed via divine thoughts/actions, should be my reaction to the thing(s) that incite fear and anything else that’s, in essence, negative. When we understand fully our Heavenly Father truly loves us, there’s no way we will believe He’s not working with, AND for us. And when it comes to a “sound mind,” the Father has already given divine thoughts to mentally combat negative thoughts/matters—we just need to learn them, then discipline ourselves to use them to put negative thoughts in check. Christian Friend, fear, stress, etc., can’t win against God’s love, power, and your sound mind! If anything’s an obstacle, Child of God, it’s YOU who’s a terror to negative reactions/thoughts! In Christ, you’re a destructive weapon, a deadly force! Remember this, you are One in God…He’s working with you!

On another note, you and I are the Bride of Christ. God loves us better than a good man loves his wife. His great love is an obstacle to Him not being good to you! Reader, have you committed your petitions to God through prayer? If you have, then they’re an obstacle, along with your faith, and His Word! Did not the Father say, “Ask and it shall be given?” Did you ask? Did you ask in faith? Did you ask according to His will? If you did, then your prayer, your faith, are obstacles to your prayer petition not coming to fruition. You did what He said do, now it’s up to Him to do what He said He will do. You believe He’s faithful and true? It’s coming to pass! Positionally, you are an obstacle to non performance of God’s good promises! I agree times are bad in many ways because of this deadly virus. But when negative thoughts formulate in your mind in reaction to this current pandemic, you have power! You have the right to relay these words to the enemy of your soul, “You’re WRONG.” Don’t get me wrong, Reader, thank God for TV News, we need to be informed, but choose to focus your attention on the good news (gospel) of Christ! Choose to believe the REPORT of the Lord! Why is the enemy of your soul wrong? Because there’s too many good promises specifically addressed to you from God! He’s wrong because not only have you prayed and asked, but you have other prayer warriors, in agreement, and praying for/with you. They’re obstacles too, hence, the acronym, “We Are One In God (WRONG). Jesus did say in St. Matthew 18:19, “If any two of you should agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” One more reason the enemy can’t defeat you with another wrong thought…”there’s strength in numbers!” Your enemy will attempt to convince you God’s Word is not true, but say those bold red letters, below, to him as often as you have too–You are wrong, and then back it up with God’s truth!

Reader, you sit in heavenly places…a seat of authority where you CAN, by your Father’s WORD, block wrong thoughts that come against your faith that God will respond favorably to your prayer petitions when you ask according to His will. 

Let the acronym, “W R O N G” remind you of who you are in Christ. You’re united/attached to Him! When two people become one flesh in marriage, they began working together in life. They live in agreement with one another on many instances. It’s so with God and His children, only we live in agreement with all God says and do because He is PERFECT in all His ways! He IS trustworthy! He will take care of you because He cares for you! With confidence, cast all your cares upon Him! 

Christian friend, get fired up against the thoughts that have stolen your peace. You’re “ONE” in Christ. As He is, so are you! He said, “My peace I give to you.” In these troubling times, read your negative thoughts your right to “peace.” Tell them with faith, force, and fierceness, “YOU ARE WRONG.”
